Q: The shirt makes a “crunching” sound when I put it on or move my arms around. Is it supposed to?
A: The waterproof material used in the underarm area often makes a crunching sound when the wearer is putting the item on. This sound will diminish as the material warms up to the wearer’s body temperature. Some people experience an “adjustment time” to get accustomed to the garment. We are confident that if you wear it for a day, the benefits you experience will far exceed your “adjustment time”. If not, return the item for a full refund.
Q: I sweat A LOT! Is it possible that the shirt won’t work for me?
A: Typically, people experience “episodes” of intense sweating followed by cool-down periods. JEEZ garments are extremely effective if you experience these types of heat-up, cool-down cycles. However, it is possible that if you sweat constantly and A LOT, that moisture could soak around the protective area and seep around the edges. If this happens, we believe that you will be glad you had it on in the first place!
Q: Are there any special washing and care instructions?
A: Jeez products should be washed in cold water, no chlorine bleach, and dried in the dryer on low heat. Do not iron the underarm area. Do not iron lace garments.
Q: I dried my JEEZ shirt on “hot” and the underarm area seems to be wrinkled and stuck together. Is it ruined?
A: Probably not. The waterproof portion of the fabric may have melted together slightly and can be gently pulled apart and smoothed back to its original shape. However, it is possible that if the temperature was very hot for too long that pulling the fabric back to its original shape may tear the waterproof layer allowing moisture to soak through the shirt.
Q: It is sometimes difficult to get the cropped camisole off. Any suggestions?
A: This item is similar to a sport bra and can be a bit difficult to take off. Some women have an easier time by slipping their arms out of the sleeves and sliding the garment down over their hips and off. This method is not recommended if the item cannot easily stretch over the hips without tearing.
